Beauty essentials to pack in your travel bag

Whether you are going away for a day or a month, you will still want to pack a couple of beauty products to make sure you look fresh and to also keep your skin looking healthy. There is no reason you have to pack your whole bathroom sink, and you will be able to look you're fine self away from home. Best of all, all of these products are easy to pack, or come in travel sizes, so you won’t be taking up precious luggage space either.

Dry Shampoo

This wonder is great for those days where you don’t want to or don’t have time to wash your hair properly. A few spritzes are all you need to liven up your hair and to stop it from looking and feeling oily. It will also provide great volume and texture without the need for a blow dry every day.

Deodorant

If you’re planning on walking around a fair bit and seeing the sights, deodorant is a must take. Nowadays deodorant comes in cream, roll-on and aerosol form, so it’s easy to pack and even easier to find in the supermarket if you need one in a travel size. It is also a cheap alternative to perfume, which can sometimes smell a little overwhelming.

BB Cream

Many BB creams act as all-round products, performing the function of foundation, moisturizer, sunscreen, and primer. This makes it the perfect product to take if you’re packing light, and means it is also great for those on the go touch-ups.

Lip balm or butter

This simple staple of the makeup bag is often forgotten during the frenzy of packing, but slip it in and you will be thanking yourself for the duration of your holiday. Multipurpose lip products like pawpaw ointment are a great staple for your travel bag, as they can be used to treat a number of conditions if you happen to come across trouble in your travels.

Makeup palette

Compacts are now great at multitasking, including lip gloss, eyeshadow, and even eyeliner. They come in many different colors so you can be ready for all occasions, whether it be a dinner at a fancy restaurant or if you just want a natural look for your day out.

These are just some beauty products that everyone should consider taking when going on a holiday, but there may be some that are more specific to your individual needs. When you’re preparing for a holiday, these products are one of many aspects you will need to consider.

There’s also clothes, shoes, electronic equipment, things you can do to keep yourself entertained, and most importantly, the luggage you are going to use.
