How to deal with hair loss

This is a post that I did not expect I will write now. I remember that a few years ago I was going to the hairdresser and that lady was so amazed by my thick hair. Back then I hated it, too thick and too stubborn. Boy, I miss those days now.

Why do I say this? Well, last year my hair started to fall out and here I am today, talking to you about hair loss. Of course, hair loss is completely normal, until you reach a certain stage when people start wondering what’s the matter with you and what’s wrong with your hair.

What changed you might say. I don’t know! So many factors can produce hair loss, stress, unhealthy diet, external factors, a certain medication, rapid weight loss, hormonal changes and so on. Do you see? The list can go on forever. Actually, you can click here and read more about it when you have to worry about hair loss and what you can do about it.

Because I suffer from hair loss myself, I thought it would be nice to put together a list of tips that might help you fight hair loss and bring back those beautiful locks.

Have a healthy lifestyle

No crash diets, no junk food, you just need to stack up on all the vital nutrients and vitamins which will strengthen your hair. It is important to consume enough protein as it supports healthy hair growth.

Eat food that is rich in protein like nuts, meat, beans, fish, seeds, eggs, and dairy products. Other necessary nutrients for your hair include B vitamins, vitamin C, iron, pantothenic acid, and beta-carotene.

Try hair loss treatments

If the goal of achieving thick long hair might seem impossible, try some treatments that might help you get on the right track. If you’re experiencing severe hair loss, don’t hesitate to look for a solution. I started taking some vitamins to help me fight hair loss and I see results, but trust me, it took me a while until I found the perfect vitamins for me.

Since it's extremely important to take good care of your hair, it's also very important to establish what kind of hair do you have and how to take care of it accordingly. For example, wavy hair is extremely beautiful, but it also requires a really different routine to maintain its health and appearance. Overnight deep-conditioning is to extra-curly hair what sleeping masks are to dry skin and that's why is very important to use a wavy hair oil every day.

Reduce stress

I know this is easier said than done, but at least you need to give it a try, right? I mean, I stressed a lot when I noticed that my hair is changing and falling out, so yeah, it’s really hard to remain calm but we have to! Try not to get so affected by things that happen daily, find some time for yourself and the things you like.

Be careful with your hair styling

Hair loss can occur due to poor hairstyling techniques. Styling causes hair breakage and damage due to harsh chemicals and excessive heat. The condition of the hair can be improved by minimizing the use of styling techniques. If the hair loss is severe then you can consider changing your hairstyle and using body boosting products that can add volume to your hair and make them look thicker than it actually is.

Natural remedies

I often try different hair masks. I like to massage my scalp with several oils, like amla oil and coconut oil. I also make some homemade hair masks with natural ingredients and I notice that my hair looks much healthier after I use them.
